Summary: “A little-noticed bill moving through Congress would allow companies to require employees to undergo genetic testing or risk paying a penalty of thousands of dollars, and would let employers see that genetic and other health information.”
Relevance: This is a violation of privacy, opens the door to employer discrimination, and creates yet another vulnerability for the theft of personal health information.
Action: Tell your representative to vote no on HR 1313.
